What are you doing to prevent the spread of COVID-19?

Preventing the spread of COVID-19 is our highest priority. Our employees adhere strictly to the following guidelines and tasks.

  • Cleaning with EPA certified disinfectants and proper use
  • Color coded mops, rags, and chemicals to reduce cross contamination
  • Glove removal before and after cleaning critical areas
  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and its proper use
  • Touched points at a client sites are cleaned frequently

Do your employees wear masks?

Yes. Our employees wear masks and gloves. We also train our employees on the proper use of both items to maximize their effectiveness.

Do you offer Coronavirus cleaning services?

Yes. In areas where a worker who is suspected or confirmed of having the Coronavirus, we clean the walls from the ceiling to floor (not including the ceiling itself), all surfaces, and all equipment including copier, phones, printers, cubicles, and keyboards, etc. If we are cleaning common areas, we clean all touch points.

Our Terminal Cleaning Process

In accordance with CDC guidelines, each of our employees follows specific terminal cleaning processes which includes the following tasks and procedures.

  • Put on PPE kit which includes scrubs, gloves, booties, glasses/goggles, and face mask.
  • Gather all paper items from the desk such as Kleenex boxes, clip boards, paperwork etc. and put into a trash bag. Leave items outside the room for the client to store or throw away.
  • Spray all surfaces using an EPA approved disinfectant and allow for a full 10-minute dwell time before wiping with the microfiber cloth.
    • Using an extension arm, with a flat mop, clean all walls from top to bottom with the disinfectant.
    • Wipe any equipment attached to walls. When removing framed items from a wall to disinfect, lay them against the wall for the client to rehang.
    • Disinfect countertops. Move all items on counters in order to completely disinfect the surface.
    • Disinfect all equipment sitting on the counters including power cords if applicable.
    • Disinfect all cabinets, including faces, doors, and cabinet handles.
    • Clean the inside and outside of all trash receptacles and replace liners.
    • Wipe down and disinfect the entire door, top to bottom inside and out including the door jamb.
  • Floor Cleaning
    • Vacuum the entire room. There is to be no debris, hair or otherwise left behind.
    • Dust mop the entire hard floor. There is to be no debris, hair or otherwise left behind.
    • Wet mop the entire hard floor, wall to wall and under all equipment. The mop head must be dedicated to the contaminated area and not utilized elsewhere to eliminate the possibility of cross contamination.
  • After mopping the floor, place the equipment back in its original place, fully disinfect it and place the mop head(s) in the trash bag to be discarded at the site.
  • After cleaning is complete, remove and collect all PPE, mop heads, and microfiber rags, secure them in a plastic bag and throw them away in the trash bin at the site.

Yes. At Janitorial Inc., we offer CDC compliant cleaning and disinfecting services for commercial and office buildings, medical and manufacturing facilities, as well as schools and inversities.
